This is my quick version of the Chocolate Cornflake Christmas Tree recipe. If you’re looking for a festive recipe you’re in the right place!

This recipe makes one tall Chocolate Cornflake Christmas Tree, although you can easily scale up the recipe to make as many as you like.

This recipe is a simple festive activity for children and adults of all ages, providing there’s a responsible adult to melt the chocolate safely.

Instead of using biscuit cutters to draw templates, you simply fill them with the chocolate cornflake mixture instead, which takes a fraction of the time. Your finished tree will be taller, with less definition than the longer recipe – but it’ll be every bit as delicious!

You can add sprinkles as I have, or leave them out. A dusting of icing sugar snow will transform your finished tree effortlessly.

This is a quicker recipe, perhaps better suited to smaller children compared to my longer version recipe:

Top tips:

You can add dried fruit & nuts to the cornflakes if you like.

This recipe works with milk, dark or white chocolate. Just make sure you use the same chocolate for the cornflakes and for the assembly.
